Our sustainable fashion future

Our journey

Due to our strong commitment towards our enviroment, we’ve increased our sustainability efforts since starting the journey 2 years ago. In 2020 we will reach an important milestone as we reach a level of minimum 30% sustainablity in our collections. This level we continiously strive to increase and our goal is to go all the way.

With our level of sustainability continually increasing with every collection, we are lowering the environmental impact of our production. We still make the styles and the garments you love – just with a significantly lower environmental impact.

We’re proud of the close and long-standing relationships we have with our manufactures. We can track materials from the point of origin to the finished garments. Making this a safe and responsible production. We consider this a joint responsibility for all parties.

We try to do better in all aspects of our business. For us, the journey to becoming more sustainable does not stop with the production of our garments. It reaches out into all corners.

Our efforts also have a focus on reducing carbon emissions and reducing the amount of packaging used. We are committed to the smarter packing and transporting of our goods so that transportation emissions are minimised through a reduction in packaging and by bundling our goods.

This journey is becoming a way of thinking for us. It has become a reality that we invest in. Not because we have to, but because it is the right thing to do.

  • Sustainable Viscose

Sustainable viscose differs from conventional viscose by ensuring that the natural resources used are replaced. Every time a tree is cut down, a new tree is planted. Compared to conventional viscose production, the production of sustainable viscose is responsible for up to 50% fewer emissions. It uses half as much energy and water, and the pulp-bleaching process is 100% chlorine-free.

    - Continuously improving the methods ensures a greater output and improves the effective utilisation of resources.

    - It reduces emissions and water impact by up to 50% compared to conventional viscose production.

    - All natural resources used in the production process are cleaned and reused.

  • Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is a fibre that respects the environment and the people who cultivate and process it. By only cultivating and growing with natural fertilisers, we ensure soil fertility and the safety of the farmers.

    - Only natural fertilisers are involved in the production.

    - The production cares for the condition of the soil and ensures a better soil for our future generations.

    - Water in organic cotton production is being used more efficiently – meaning less water is consumed or polluted.

    - The production enhances biodiversity.

    - Farmers develop a better knowledge and understanding of the practices that can minimise the impact of cultivating our soil.

  • Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester may share the same name as conventional polyester. Yet these 2 fibres are as different as it gets. Recycled polyester production reduces the human and environmental impact immensely, as it reduces the extraction of natural resources.

    - Recycled polyester is made from PET waste plastics.

    - Recycled polyester is the greener, more eco-friendly alternative to virgin polyester.

    - Recycled polyester production uses water more efficiently than conventional production. Less water is used and less water is polluted.

    - When recycling PET plastic for textile production, we also prevent the waste from going to landfill.

    - Converting PET plastic waste into new garments uses up to 50% less energy than producing conventional polyester.

    - Recycled polyester can be recycled numerous times – allowing us to minimise vaste.

    - It doesn’t take up agricultural land nor consume large amounts of water.
